History:
Anastasia was born into a perfectly normal, loving family. As a child, she was happy and carefree, though she was always slightly more reserved than the other children her age. She attended a muggle school, where she did well in all of her classes, though she made few friends. She always knew that she would attend Durmstrang just as her parents had, and although she could have chosen to be tutored at home, she was interested to learn whatever she could even at such a young age.

When she turned eleven, she relieved the letter that she had been expecting for most of her life, and began preparing to leave for Durmstrang. It was the same year that her younger brother, Alexei, was born and although she loved him very much she was excited to get to school. Upon her first night, she was sorted into Khitrost. Just as she had in her muggle school, Anastasia did very well in her classes. However, she made no friends and was only acquaintances with the other girls in her dorm.

As she continued with her schooling, she remained isolated, though she never felt lonely. Instead she focused on her classes and her plans to study magical law when she graduates. When she turned sixteen, her parents allowed her to live alone in Moscow, provided she live in the magical district and that her little brother could stay with her for at least one week during the summer and that she would return home over the Christmas break.

Family History: The Velikov family were purebloods for many generations, not due to bigotry but purely due to chance. When Aleksei Velikov met his future wife, Anya, neither he nor his family cared that she had muggle parents. The pair met at Durmstrang, and married not long afterward. Anya studied to become a healer, while Aleksei learned how to run the family business which he took over a few years later. The had two children, Anastasia and Alexei.
