Dinah's the name, Killing's the game. (Jace) Empty Dinah's the name, Killing's the game. (Jace)

Post by Guest Tue Jul 19, 2016 6:31 pm

Over 5000 dollars to kill one woman. No problem, Dinah had told herself that, that very morning. Her family had gotten a job offer and they didn't care if it was loud. Loud was Dinah's big thing. They called her the siren, the canary or even the Black Canary. For the way she killed wasn't normal oh no. She could kill using a bow and arrow but she tends to like to shatter every window in a house. She woke up the morning and left for Moscow, Haylie Romanoff. 25, pregnant. Oh, that last part hit her hard but a job was a job.

Wandering around the streets of Moscow she found her target and smirked easy kill. She walked slowly forward like a wolf stalking their prey, which she was. As she followed the women she noticed that the info was wrong, she wasn't pregnant no, she had been sure. But now there was two little girls walking by her side, twins no older than five. Sighing she cracked her neck and walked slowly and as the women went into was was most likely her house Dinah got ready. Grabbing her knife and her bow and arrow strapped to her back she knocked on the door. The moment the women answered she knocked her out cold. The worst part was she was gonna have to kill the twins.

Putting on a cold face she grabbed her bow and arrow and shot the twins in cold blood her eyes dark as she watched them fall. Grabbing the women she stabbed her in the heart killing her quickly. Now came the fun part, Dinah looked around and smirked, cracking her neck she screamed shattering every window, glass object and anything of the sort within twenty feet of her. Stopping she giggled and grabbed her things and took a few things from around the house. Mainly money. She then walked out and held onto her bow and arrow tightly. Soon after though she bumped into someone and within seconds her wolf went from blood crazy to calm. No..no...no. Not him not now. "Jace" She whispered softly looking up her eyes cold and dark.

Jace had been following Dinah's scent for a while now, staying within the shadows which is what he was always good at. He lost her for a moment, her scent leading to a destroyed house and the strong scent of blood in the air with the gentle mix of Dinah. He sighed loudly and went through the streets to look for her, watching her walk up to him and he allowed her to bump into him, grabbing her waist as he stared down at her. The cold eyes she gave him sent a shudder down his spine and he frowned deeply, lifting up her chin to face him properly. "Dinah," He replied to her whisper, ignoring the tingle in his fingertips. "Having fun without me?" He wanted to tease her, to show her that he wasn't mad or disappointed. Her dangerous side was one of the reasons he was in love with her loved her.

Dinah looked at him and shivered slightly at his touch. Looking at him she stared at him her eyes still cold and lifeless. Sure Dinah was a nice person most of the time, kind and she cared but right now. Right now she was a killer someone who could take off your head in one single slice. She heard the teasing and she smirked "You. were late to the party alpha" She whispered back at him smirking as she did. Sniffing the air the noticing the blood smell and it wasn't just from her. "you've been following me haven't you Jace?" It was more of a statement than a question as she stared at him with a raised eyebrow. Sighing she shook her head "Ya gotta stop doing that, you're gonna get hurt in the blast one of these days, you may be training Jace but you could still get hurt" She whispered and slowly wrapped her arms around his neck. She finally let herself relax against him. "You are gonna get hurt one of these day following me around" She told him shaking her head.

Jace didn't like the coldness all the time, waiting for her to relax so he rubbed her waist with his thumbs, knowing the action soothed her. "Forgive me, I never got the invite." He teased and bowed his head when she called him out on following her. He knew he could get hurt but he also knew when to back away, he saw the signs of her about to scream. He knew every little detail about her. "I know I can but you know I love seeing you in action." He pointed out and smiled when she relaxed, wrapping her arms around his neck and he leaned down to her ear, breathing her in. "Nice shot by the way." He whispered, smirking as he did.

Dinah watched him sighing softly. She watched him carefully, Dinah knew him and she knew how he liked to watch her sometimes but it terrfied Dinah because if he got hurt it would be Dinah facing the trouble. Dinah wouldn't loose him not like she's lost a lot of people. Sure she had her brother and the rest of the Arline's but Jace was...and always will be different. Laughing softly as he spoke she smiled "when isn't my shots nice Jace?" She smirked down at him relaxing slightly. She loved that he was here even if he had followed her. "Just be glad I didn't notice you before I was done" she teased softly "I would have dragged you away" she smirked at him and it was true any time she managed to notice Jace before a kill she dragged him away being scared she would hit him. "Allisons gonna kick my ass when she realizes I stopped and didn't just head to the buyer" she laughed softly shaking her head. "This one...the women she had two little girls Jace...twins" she whispered softly "like me and Apollo, or Josh and Asher...I thought she was pregant but no, I had to kill two little girls, they couldn't have been older then 5" she whispered and sighed burying her face in his shoulder calming herself down. "I hate killing kids"

Jace smiled at her laugh, glad she was letting her assassin wall down and then shook his head. "That's a very good point and I'd always come back." He pointed out and then she spoke about the mission, instantly holding her in his arms and pressing her against his chest before resting his face in her hair. "It's over now, sweet Siren." He murmured into her ear and kissed at her forehead. "If you hadn't, they would've lived without a mother, a father and forced to live on the streets. They would''ve begged for death in their later years." He pointed out, stroking a sensitive on Dinah's neck as he knew it calmed her when he did little circles on her skin.

Dinah allowed herself to relax as he pulled her close, setting her head on his chest she let out a breath. Her nod was small but it was still there. "I know I know, but it doesn't make it any simpler" she sighed and tilted her head slightly as she felt him touch her neck. "I don't know I adore my work I do but sometimes the kids are a bit much, it's different if they aren't born yet because they don't know any life but those two" she sighed and shook her head "I just dislike killing kids that's all" she let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding. "But getting to destroy things like I do is always fun" she laughed softly trying to just hide her pain. "When did you even figure out I was here?"

Jace smiled only slightly at her relaxing, it was not the time to revel in the fact she fit so perfectly into him. "I know darling. But it's part of the job." He pointed out with great reluctance. He would hate it too, always thinking they were his family but it was the job and she was made for it. He knew she'd be okay. He knew she was hiding her pain and he leaned down, cupping her cheek. "You can stop hiding how you feel, darling. I know you. I can read you like a book." He said with a smirk and he looked away almost bashfully. "I'm actually here to visit Benji, I've come a day early to surprise him and then I caught your scent about an hour ago. Been following you since." He admitted.

Dinah smiled at him and nodded "I know Jace, I know" she ran her hand though her hair. "Been doing this for as long as I can remember but sometimes it's just hard" she laughed softly and looked down. Feeling his hand on her cheek she lifted her head looking at him, she smirked seeing him look away. She reached up and covered his hand with her own smaller one. "You've always been able to read me it's annoying but nice at some points" she laughed softly and then heard him explain why he was here. Nodding she smiled "ya I got here a while ago the guy who ordered the job asked for me ya know, apparently some people like how I make a show of where I do the job" she laughed softly "I missed you" she whispered and shifted so she could bury her face in his neck sure it hadn't been that long since he had last seen Jace but still she always missed him. "You should have came to visit or at least came to London, my family doesn't hate you...unlike your family" she laughed softly "I swear your sisters are gonna make me kill myself for a job one day"

Jace smiled, holding her tight against him and he so desperately wanted to shout to her that despite how tough it was for her, he'd be with her every step of the way as she held his heart so tight in her assassin hands. "Do you think the man was the one who fathered the children?" He questioned, which was probably going to be his downfall if he ever became assassin. He asked too many questions of things you shouldn't ask questions about. He smiled at the fact she missed him, him quickly returning those words as though he'd die if he didn't and he moved his head into her hair. "I would've but you know my father...He's really getting aggressive about me taking over." He admitted, the stress of his father visible on his face. "Kira and Tristan have no idea and they expect so much from me. They may think there is tension but my father acts like a saint whenever they're around."

Dinah looked at him and smiled softly then she heard his question and she visibly winced. "It's a possibility..." She whispered and sighed softly "You ask a lot of question's you know this right" She laughed softly and kissed his jaw. Feeling him shift and hide his face slightly she sighed and looked at him the best she could, frowning she shook her head. "Jace..." She sighed and shifted a bit so his face wasn't in her hair. Cupping his face with her hands she frowned "You aren't you're father and you never will be" She spoke "But that's not a bad thing, you may not be what he wants you to be, you may not be the perfect Alpha or anything of the sort like he is and your sisters adore you, so much so that I'm pretty sure they are ceartin I'm going to take you from them." She sighed and rested her forehead on his.

"You aren't your father, you are Jace Sebestin Lycanthe" She whispered softly, her voice almost completely silent this next sentence, "You're my Jace, you are my best friend and someone so stubborn and stupid sometimes to even train to be like me to be a killer, your an idiot and sometimes really mean and your to freakishly tall for your own good" She spoke "But you may not be perfect and you may not be the kindest person or the sweetest of the most caring, but that's what makes you, you" She told him smiling kindly "and I don't want anyone else to be my best friend, I want you, I want my Jace" She kissed his forehead stroking his hair slightly "You are perfect in my eyes because of you're flaws Jace"

Jace chuckled at the fact she said he asked a lot of questions, something that caused them to be friends in the first place. He was then forced to look at her, her eyes shocking him to the core and he became rooted to the spot and he couldn't help but listen to her. Her soft words seemed to be so much more powerful than her scream. He decided to confess one of his many secrets. "He's not even my father, Dinah. Gods, I call him that to at least give me the illusion I've got one. I've got no clue who my actual father is...My brothers, gods, my brothers are all over the world and I'm stuck." He rambled, his usually hard wall crumbling down just because she was touching him.

Her saying he was her best friend killed him inside but he put on his smile. "I'm definitely glad I'm stuck with you by my side. And you love that I'm freakishly tall." He pointed out kissing at her forehead with a wide smile. "Thank you, Dinah. For someone who doesn't do great with people, you're really great at comforting them." He said and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, slipping them into an alleyway before falling backwards into a wall, making them fall through its sudden liquid like texture and they were inside a wizard antique store, and it looked abandoned from the thick dust. He wanted to take that time to tell her he loves her but instead, he wiped the dust of a dust case before he ended up smashing it, revealing an antique gun. "Go ahead, darling." Jace said, knowing it'd be one she liked.

Dinah looked at him and frowned as she was told that who she believed to be Jace's father this whole time had been his own father. She sighed and brushed her thumb against his cheek "Oh Jace....you don't need biological family, look at me, the only blood relation I've had my life is my twin brother and well I adore him someday he will travel on his own. My family is the Arline's and it always has been" She looked up at him and giggled softly "Ya I do"

Allowing herself to be moved as he walked she laughed when they fell. She looked around and her eyes widened as she just watched everything around her, she always adored old things especially old weapons. They were always the most beautiful things ever in her eyes. Hearing something smash she quickly spun to make sure Jace hadn't been hurt but soon found that her eyes were drawn to something else. A beautiful gun, one lace with engravings like old ones usually were. Walking slowly she picked it up and smiled widely.

"Look at you, you're beautiful oh its a shame you haven't been used in forever isn't it. Oh yes, it is well mama's gonna shoot you so much you'll get tired" Her eyes filled with wonder and joy as she stared down at it. Soon she flipped it in her hand and spun around quickly aiming it at an old book and shooting since thankfully for some unknown reason there were bullets in it. One, two, three shots. Dinah's smile widened. "Oh, you shoot perfectly don't you, I bet we could kill some real big guys eh" She smiled and dropped her hand still holding the gun. Walking to Jace she smiled her eyes filled with joy and excitement. Leaning up she kissed just beside his lips. "Thank you alpha" Her voice dropped to a whisper as she spoke and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Thank you" She whispered once more before pulling away from him and putting the gun in the back waistband of her skirt.

Jace leaned into her hand, pecking at the palm with a wide smile. He was so thankful that he had Dinah in his life, he almost wanted to cry with joy at the fact she stuck with him all these years but he controlled himself, just relishing in the touch of her skin. Her reaction to the gun caused him to beam with pride and he leaned against an old wardrobe, it surprisingly standing still as his large weight pressed against it despite its years of neglect. He raised his eyebrow as she shot at the book and then was stunned when she suddenly appeared in front of him, his heart stopping at the feeling of her lips against the edge of her own. When she began to pull away, he instantly grabbed onto her hips and pulled her against him, his breath ragged. "Anything for you, Dinah," He said before his voice dropped to a whisper. "Anything for you."

Dinah felt his hands on her hips and it made her heart stop. She looked up at him her breath going ragged like his own. Everything in her being was screaming at her to hold onto him and never let go. Leaning against him more she grabbed his shirt tightly letting out a sigh. She reached up and cupped his cheek smiling slightly as she moved closer to him, the feeling of his touch setting her skin on fire. Smirking she pulled his face down slightly so she could look at him better. A smirk was wide on her face. "I have a question for you" She whispered "It may sound silly but im curious" She tilted her head smiling still. "Would you kill me if I asked?" Her eyebrow raised as she watched him carefully, giving no explanation as to why she asked such a question.

Jace rested his back against the wardrobe, keeping her flush against his chest and he leaned into her hand. Her touch sent his skin tingling and chuckled as she pulled down his face and he rubbed his fingers against her waist, however they froze at her question. The idea of killing her pained him greatly and the hurt and pain flashed visibly in his eyes. "I wouldn't want to but if you asked it, if you were desperate for it and there was nothing I could do to help...I-I would with great pain. I hope to never have to, Dinah...I couldn't live without you." He whispered the last sentence, wanting to prove it with a simple kiss but he controlled himself.

Dinah watched the pain in his eyes appear and she sighed softly. "You're my knight in shining armour" She whispered softly and looked at him her eyes soft but cold at the same time. "You would live without my and some day you shall, I will most likely die on my job, I will get shot and not be able to heal or get a limb cut off and bleed out, Jace. This is the way I knew things would happen since the moment I met you, someday you will have to live without me" She whispered softly "You forget, you are an alpha, you don't have time for some low life omega" It had been years since she called herself that but as she spoke those words, the pain and sadness in her eyes were clear. "Someday you will find someone...maybe your mate maybe not. I have no clue, but you will find someone and move on it won't matter if I'm dead or not"

Jace latched onto her, his hands sliding up her bod to cup his cheeks and he forced her to meet his eyes. "I would be able to live without you, I'd be able to eat and sleep and drink and talk. But I wouldn't want to." He admitted, the talk of her death paining him and when she called herself a low life omega, a low growl rumbled in his chest. "You said you'll never call yourself that. Gods, Dinah...You're an idiot.." He murmured when she mentioned he'd find his mate and he leaned closer to her. "I don't need to find her." He whispered.

Dinah shivered softly as she felt his hands slide up her body. Her eyes met his own and she watched him talk. She looked down almost ashamed of herself she could feel the pain she was making him feel. It made her upset and ashamed. As she heard his growl her eyes flickered up and she watched him carefully. At his words, she looked down "It's true, though...I'll always be an omega Jace" She whispered. Then she laughed softly "I bet you anything my mate will end up being an omega as well or a human" She looked down again. But then she looked up feeling him lean closer. His whisper sent a ripple of emotions through her, anger, fear, sadness, happiness, hatred, love. She was shaking now as she stood in front of him. "Wh-what do you mean" Then suddenly it felt like her whole body was screaming at her like her wolf was yelling at her and it made a ringing in her ears appear and it made her wince and cover her ears. "Shut up" She muttered and it was clear she wasn't talking to Jace "Shut up" She started to fall in her stance slowly sinking to her knees. One word, over and over and over. One word Dinah couldn't make out, the same word that had been in her head since she was young. One word being screamed at her until she heard it, till she would let it be heard. She wouldn't allow it to be heard, not now. She hadn't for 6 years now. Why would she now. Her wolf kept screaming at her over and over and over.

Jace sighed, staring down at her and his eyes softened, stroking her cheek with his thumb. "You're my omega, Dinah." He pointed almost nervously and almost laughed at the fact she stuttered and dared ask him what he meant. But then concern ripped through his body when she covered her ears, whispering the same sentence over and over again. He fell to his knees with it, wrapping his arms around and he pulled her into his lap, cradling her. "Breathe, listen to her, it must be important." He pleaded, wanting her pain to stop and he rubbed his thumb against her temple before planting a kiss on the other side. "Listen to her, please...Connect. The pain will stop."

Dinah allowed him to move her but she was still shaking and whimpering, shaking her head she let out a cry as she began to feel a pounding in her head and she almost fainted. But she didn't. She was shaking more and more now, the yelling in her ears began to much and tears began to fall. "Shut up, shut up, shut up!" She yelled the last bit and this time, she ended up screaming it only happened for two seconds but it was enough to rip everything around her apart. Dinah was to weak to keep shutting her wolf out and finally her eyes glowed brightly, her green eyes now a bright green as she stared at him. Her whole figure finally calm and relaxed as she stared at him and slowly grabbed his face and pulled it close. When she spoke it was clearly not Dinah, "She ignored me for so long, shut me out for so long, shes been ignoring the truth terrfied to hurt us, to hurt you"

Jace rubbed at her skin, trying to calm her down and he hated the sight of the tears rolling down her face and then the scream appeared, destroying few of the things around them and he held tight onto her. Then her green eyes landed on him and he was stunned to the core, Kara having come through for the first time in years and Verlac himself rejoiced. "K-Kara, why?" He asked but knew it was stupid. They were mates and that was something Dinah had been ignoring, her fear of hurting him much stronger than the love and he cupped her cheek. "Dinah, you are foolish..." He whispered and couldn't hold back anymore, capturing her lips with his own and poured all his emotions into that single kiss whilst his entire body set alight, Verlac howling in the depths of his mind.

Kara stared at him and all but laughed as he asked why. "You know why" She whispered softly and when he touched her, her own skin felt like it was on fire. Leaning against his hand she smirked, Her eyes stopped glowing the moment she felt his lips on hers. Dinah's own widened but did nothing, finally she grabbed his shoulders and pulled him closer tears running down her cheeks. For once Kara was happy in the back of her mind, smiling and howling. She pulled away slowly tears filling her eyes. "I'm sorry...I'm so so sorry" She whimpered out "You're stuck with me....your stuck me as a mate and I'll just end up hurting you" She kept shaking as she grabbed onto him crying. "I'm so sorry you have me as a mate" She whimpered and couldn't help herself but kissed him again.
