History: Cora is the oldest daughter and second child of William and Cordelia Lawther, who both had been in very respectful jobs during her childhood. Which meant Cora had an amazing life where she had everything she wanted, and her parents were rather an prominent family in the English wizarding world. Meaning they had connections in many places, and had been able to protect their children from anything, leading Cora to be rather sheltered, and when she was six she had showed her first signs of magic. Which made her parents smile, since that meant their daughter would join in the wizards and witches of their family.

Leading Cora to have been a very brave little girl, who would do anything and risk herself for anyone she felt deserved it. Which one day she would pass unto her children. Well aside from that Cora had gotten everything as a child leading her to have those wealthy beliefs which she would also not let get to her head too much since she was more caring than arrogant. Then it was time for her to go to Hogwarts, she had went and was placed in Gryffindor which made her father smile since that was his house. As well as leading Cora to be the person she is today, a woman who is proud of her children.

Well her years of Hogwarts, had been very good years where she flourished in many classes even though she had not been so good at Herbology which her mother was quite special at. Although she had been skilled at Transfigurations, and had excelled with being top of her year in that class, and also meeting a man who would later become her husband being Elias Shaw, who was a boy in her year, as well as her house, who had been friends since they first were at Hogwarts, even though not then knowing that they would one day be will be married, and having an amazing family of good children.

Cora's final years of Hogwarts had been good where she achieved prefect and head girl, which one day would be held by her daughter who be in the same house. Upon graduating from Hogwarts, she had went to the university where she had pursued a Transfigurations degree, which would later be the career she would be in, which had been the Transfigurations professor at Hogwarts, who would also right out of university marry the man she loved which was Elias. Who would also have a child who was concieved in her last months of the university which meant they were married after they both graduated.

Leading them to having many children, all who are successful in their own way, although when their youngest son was three they had all been attacked which would be the day that they would become werewolves where they had been in St. Mungos for days on until they were allowed to be released and had been werewolves which led to them trying to be werewolves, and soon having two more children which would the start of the children they had to worry about.

Well aside from that her children had done well which made Cora smile, and also led to her becoming quite worried about her children, as of three years which her husband had disappeared and has led to Cora having an vendetta against the death eaters, and just like her daughter and will to want to get back at them, and find her husband. Even though she is beginning to think that perhaps it is time to move on even though she has no clue what is in store for her now.

Family History:
The Shaw family had been around since the early days of England, and had been descendants from an ancient line of royalty, as well as descendants from Merlin. Well the family had been started with a young wizard named Alexander Shaw, had been looking to start a name for himself, and hopefully have a successful family. Since he wanted to have his legacy live on and have it symbolize bravery. Which had been one of his main attruibutes, since he had been a slave boy who had escaped the clutches of his master, which would also be the first thing a Shaw must not do which was own a slave.

Well Alexander's bravery had been what gained him recognition as a eye in the royals, and soon marrying a noble women, who he would have two children with. One being his daughter who had been considered the bravest Shaw to ever live. Aside from all that, the Shaws have always been a prominent family, and had been the farthest thing from evil, since every Shaw was taught how to be a good person, and had been strong supporters of the good side since the beginning of their time. Leaving them too become a very wealthy clan, and considered royals, who had been friends with the monarchs of England.

As well as in many wars, where they would play many parts in being social, and some using magic to help them do well. Which meant the monarchs of England knew full well of their magic, and many had admired them, and used some members magic to help them with things they felt were beyond muggle hands. Then soon during the days of King Henry, the family had been having some evil members who had been trying to manipulate others. Which still consists in some family members.

Truly, the Shaw's are considered to be the wealthiest and most prominent family in England, aside from the royal family of course, who the family remains on good terms with. Since they have huge connections with them, and tend to invite them to dinner parties. As for those who went to Hogwarts most have been sorted into Gryffindor, but many had also been sorted into other classes, even though a majority being sorted into Gryffindor. Although in recent decades their had been many problems and much success for the Shaw family. One in being that they are the wealthiest wizarding family, and also subject to have had many scandals happen.

Although as off today their lives have not been the easiest, since the oldest Shaw had reportedly gone missing, which had been receiving no help from the ministry, and the only who cares are those who are loyal to the Shaws. As well as dealing with the fact that some are werewolves, and have had many problems. Which means recently the Shaw family had been turning into a mystery for the members, which is going to get more interesting in their mind.
